Unified Modeling Language® Certification – Fundamental Preparation helps prepare the modeling practitioner to pass the OMG UML Certified Professional (OCUP) Fundamentals Exam. The course is designed to cover all of the topics describe in the Fundamentals exam coverage map.

Students are provided with example certification exam questions, which they answer after each module. As with most knowledge-based certification exams, the UML certification exams are based on how well one knows the UML 2.0 specification, not how one uses UML in practice. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that students have some UML modeling experience (see prerequisites below).
